Beyond The Wall
The Wall The Wall The Wall The Wall The Wall
<From The Wall, Wednesday, June 4, 2008 >

Janel, hurled fake book reviews against The Wall.
The reasons were:

I like to check out the reviews--especially on Amazon.com right when new books come out. Most of the time Harriett Klausner is the first person to review the book and it seems like no matter how horrid the plot, undefined the characters and mediocre the entire book is she gives it 5 stars. As a matter of fact I went to all of her reviews and only found a few FOUR star ratings. Her reviews have become meaningless.

I, ,
just want to add:

Characters remaining:
The rule is still to hurl books not people. If you don't like this rule and want to rant against Slake, just email slake@slake.com.

Check out the Pedestal - Grace by Deanne Clark. These just don't fit the sites usual writeups.

LOL. I've learned that if I want an honest opinion of a book to just come to this site. If I'm interested in a book and it's getting slammed, I just don't waste my time or money on it.

I learned a long time back that Klausner's reviews are a lot like Ebert and Roeper movie reviews: paid for and worthless.

Is she real? And does she know how to write a review without using ellipses?

What's worse is when an authors fanatical fangirl club gets on and starts raving how goog a book is when its clearly junk. Those people are nuts and don't understand the concept of reviewing. They just like the book because they like the author.
