The Wall The Wall The Wall The Wall The Wall
<From The Wall, Thursday, March 19, 2009 >

Darla, hurled My Man Michael by Lori Foster against The Wall.
The reasons were:

It felt to me like it was just thrown together. For such an advanced culture they were really nieve about alot of things. There was just alot of the book that didn't make sense.

just want to add:

Characters remaining:
The rule is still to hurl books not people. If you don't like this rule and want to rant against Slake, just email slake@slake.com.

Rae added:

I agree that the switch from genre to genre was abrupt and poorly handled. It didn't bother me as badly as the me Tarzan you Stupid with uterus undertones.

Violet added:

I heard really bad things about this book, but since it was the next in the series, I tried reading it anyway. I didn't get past the first few pages before I hurled, and hurled it. It violates the unwritten author-reader contract to take a contemporary series and suddenly switch to a pseudo-scifi time travel genre. This book is a piece of crap. (But at least it moved J.R. Ward off the top of the "Bad Author, Don't Do That" list.) Don't waste your time, your money, or any trees reading it.
